  • Samepoint: Samepoint is another dashboard. This dashboard includes some platforms that other dashboards don’t offer.
  • Addictomatic: This is also multiplatform buzz dashboard.
  • BackTweets: BackTweets lets you know who has been sharing your content on Twitter.
  • Twazzup: Twazzup is a real-time news dashboard.
  • Blogpulse: Blogpulse is a tool that searches blog posts for specific mentions.
  • Google (weekly + in chronological order): This allows you to do an advanced search.

All of these tools allow you the opportunity to capture your social media mentions without receiving so much information that you feel like it is too much information.

Customizing your search parameters

Customizing your search parameters may seem labor intensive in the beginning; however, you will only need to do it the first time. Once you have done this, you will always be able to access your saved searches whenever you want to use them. The more precisely customized you make your searches, the better and more efficiently they will work for you.

The end result of having set up your customized searches is that you will have an organized folder that you will use over and over again. The results that will be produced will be of great value to your business.

Once you have arrived at this point, the rest is easy. All of your pre-set searches will be in your “Mentions” folder. You will be able to peruse your searches from a convenient folder. Now all you have to do is search for your social media mentions, which will take a matter of minutes.
