It will be far more interesting for you to tweet about other people and what they are doing than about yourself. Make sure that your tweets are always positive and intriguing. Continually add people to your lists

You want to make other people feel that they are on your lists because you consider them important (they are worth having on your lists). You should also express gratitude to your followers every once in a while for the fact that they are following you.
Respond to other people’s tweets
The whole basis of Twitter is that it is an interactive tool. You need to make sure to continue to maintain an indefinite discussion with those who follow you and with those whom you follow. Also remember to retweet the tweets that you consider the most valuable. Everyone will appreciate it.
