Daniel E. Sachs

Artist's Statement: "As an artist, I view the world with a sense of humor, a touch of cynicism, and an eye for the beauty, grace, and power of the
creative mind. I sincerely hope that I can, if only on the most diminutive scale, affect some change in the lives and perceptions of those who glance at my work and try to understand themselves
and their place in the great scheme of things, by way of the vicarious adventure that is my imagination."
About The Artist: Daniel E. Sachs is currently an Assistant Professor of art history at Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, Georgia.
He earned his PhD in art history from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. After earning his BA in art history from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Dr Sachs

He worked as a typesetter and freelance illustrator in New York City for 12 years before returning to his studies in art history at Hunter College.
