If you keep that in mind as you are building your website, you can make your images smaller without ignoring the quality of the images.

    • Use larger call-to-action buttons: The larger your buttons, the more people will be willing to give you what you want. If they don’t notice the button, they won’t be pressing on it. This is an essential part of optimizing your website.

  • Create a mobile version of your website: Although this may seem like a tremendous amount of effort, it will be well worth your time in the end. If a person goes to your website from a mobile device, that person will automatically be redirected to your mobile website. It will not require any extra effort on the part of the other person, which is a really good thing. You want to make it as easy as possible on your visitors. On your mobile website, you can have unique content, graphics, etc.

  • Make sure that your website theme is optimized for mobile devices: It is very important that your theme works with mobile devices effectively. It should not have a large amount of graphics and should be as simple to operate as possible. It should also be easy to access.

  • Design your website with the mobile device in mind: When you are building your website, make sure that the content will automatically adjust to the size of the mobile device. Your website will not appear the same on all mobile devices and it is important to keep that in mind. With regard to the graphics, it is important that you don’t have graphics that are too large for the mobile device.

    Good piece on the transition of content to mobile. I do wonder, however, about simply transporting your existing website to a mobile site without changes as customers behave/search differently in the mobile world.
